Meet Kathy Burkard, our Office Supervisor & Head Teller in Rushmore.
Kathy has been employed at First State Bank Southwest for 40 years. What a fantastic asset and accomplishment to have! Her family is husband, Duane, Son, Eric, wife Laura, and their children- Carly, Lincoln, Maverick, Stella, and Son, Nathan, and wife Brianna. Kathy's work and personal goals are to enjoy life each day and travel more. I enjoy working with all customers and the co-workers I’ve worked with in each office. You should work here because we are known for our customer service, and I like helping people and going over and above my job to help someone with their banking issues.

What is your favorite meal? A good steak w/fries or Mexican food
What is your favorite restaurant? I love Texas Roadhouse
What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on? I have been to quite a few Islands and love warm places with lovely beaches. Aruba is my favorite, but Grand Cayman, Barbados, and the Hawaiian Islands are also awesome.
